What a way to FINALLY get out of Flin Flon and do something. Loreena and I went to Toronto on October 2nd. We went down just the see Evanescence, but also got some sight seeing in during the week we were there. Here are some shots from the sight seeing we did, mostly of the CN tower and downtown Toronto. Enjoy, I sure did! Can't wait to go back!
CN TOWER

I look so scared standing on the glass floor!

Hockey Hall Of Fame
We just HAD to visit the hockey hall of fame. It was very interesting and awesome we got to pose with the Stanley Cup (my parents and brothers are so jealous!).
They had these goalie masks set up on display when you first walk in
Check out this creepy statue. There are two of them set up on each side as you enter the Hall of Fame.
They had this big screen where you could put in your hometown and see if there are any famous hockey players from there. Of course, Bobby Clarke came up!
A replica of the Montreal Canadiens dressing room
Mario Lemieux...I grew up watching Pittsburgh. My dad is the biggest Lemieux fan. His basement at his house is Pittsburgh themed. Its really cool.
The ceiling of the room that the Stanley Cup is in.
The original Stanley Cup.
The Stanley Cup
The second Stanley Cup
I was actually making out with the cup. I gave it a little bit of tongue. LOL Then I was weirded out...you know how many people kiss that thing...and all the hockey sweat on it? LOL
Matthew and I in this old fashioned room by the Stanley Cup. We were pretending to be a rich married couple smoking out of pipes.
James Blunt meet and greet
Who has a BF in front of James Blunt? Leave it to me! LOL So we were walking down this street in Toronto trying to get to Much Music and these guys were sitting at a table outside Best Buy and were like "hey do you guys want wrist bands to meet James Blunt?" we were like "okay". ha ha So ya, we had to buy his CD, that was the catch. I don't really like James Blunt, but its someone else to add to my list of celebrities I've met. Oh ya, and about the BF, he wasn't taking pics with anyone but the girls ahead of us got their pics taken with him. So I asked him if he would get a pic with me. He said sure and put his arm around me. The security guy was like "Nope, I already took one" I was like "are you kidding me?!" and he was like "I already took one" I was like "Uhh! Jesus Christ!" and grabbed my cd and walked away. Poor James was like confused and was all "Bye, nice meeting you". LOL Only me, only me!!
ha ha ha Look at my face, I look like I just adore him and am in awe. When really, I kinda like one of his songs and thats it! Whats the big deal with him anyways?! lol
Ridin the Subway
I have never rode a subway before. You always hear horror stories about them and they seem so scary. Its actually not bad. Its cheap and gets you places fast. Mind you, it does smell like pee...but thats beyond the point. My grandma wanted me to stay away from the subway, but what happens in Toronto, stays in Toronto...until I post it online!
Here we decided to just make some crazy faces...but I ended up looking the dumbest! LOL nice
Just some random people
Downtown Toronto Shots
Talk about advertising...Yonge Street, Toronto
Ceiling of the Hard Rock Cafe shop
Fountains at the Yonge Street Square. (mission to stalk Evanescence...failed miserably so took pics instead! lol
Nice how that pole obstructs the "S" in "Shoes". So, really, Its "Town Hoes"! ha ha
Ah Zanzibar. $8.50 later and I had ONE vodka and 7!! But I guess it makes up for it when you see your "live entertainment" and your waitresses...LOL
This chocolate bar is too trippy. Its actually a billboard above the Hard Rock Cafe area on Yonge. The mechanical people on it look real, and creepy! Especially the guy sitting on top who was "eating" a pirce of the bar. The little piece of chocolate would move up to his mouth and then back down on his lap.
Much Music
I grew up watching Much Music and always wanted to be on it! Of course we had to do the MOD thing! ha ha We went Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I got the wristbands a month in advance, hoping that Evanescence would do an appearance. But nope, Amy went a week early :( But oh well, we still had an awesome time! AND were on TV all week!!
Me with Matte and Tim (ohh Matte Babel!! LOVE him!)

Chingy's brother...don't remember his name, but he sang with him
I never liked Leah until I met her. She is so down to earth and super nice!
Aerosmith/Motley Crue
This was totally unplanned! We arrived in Toronto Monday, October 2nd. We went to Much Music and found out that the Trailer Park Boys were there, as well as Jet. So that was a cool surprise. After Much we went into this shoe store on Queen Street and overheard these guys talking about the concert tonight. We were like what concert and the one guy was like Aerosmith and the Crue tonight at the ACC. We decided to go check it out and see if we could score tickets. As soon as we got there, we weren't even out of the cab, a guy came up and asked if we needed tickets. Ya I hear not to trust scalpers, but this dude was legit. He sold us the tickets for the same price that was on the ticket. 19th row center on the floor! Not too friggin bad for last minute!
Ok, so the pics aren't the greatest. But I didn't think I could take a camera in so I didn't bring my digital. These are all off a disposable. It was my third time seeing the Crue and the first time I took a camera. At least I got something LOL Concert was INCREDIBLE!
